5 Good Things About College:
- Having a roommate who shares in the pride and delight of successfully assembling a chair for our 5x10 "living room"
- Living on a campus small enough that I didn't actually have to make an effort to learn the whereabouts of anything.
- 12 varieties of cereal
- I appear to suffer homesickness about 84% less than the average freshman.
- An astonishingly stellar cafeteria selection has allowed my store of Ramen to remain unperturbed.

5 Bad Things About College
- A thermostat recently confirmed a relatively consistent dorm room temperature of 64 degrees.
- Wake-up times comparable to high school
- Discovering that our TV lacks the capability for DVD connection
- Greeting every morning with a ladder-less, five and a half foot jump.
- Cliche things (including, but not limited to, shower shoes, gen ed classes, separation from friends/family, and ceaseless conversations about "the freshman 15")

My geology professor made a total of four Star Wars and five Star Trek references in a four hour time period. Tell me that isn't the most stereotypical thing you've ever heard.
